An Industry Where Aging Is Beautifully Confident

At age 18, cosmetology license in hand, I began my career in one of the most beautiful industries in the world! I set out creating, exploring, and educating myself.

I learned how to bring a smile not only to my clients’ faces but their hearts. I mastered the latest trends in cutting, perming, and coloring. With over 25 years behind the chair, I then took that knowledge and began my career as a salon consultant, educator, and now co-owner of Angelo’s Salon Development Group.

I look back now with 47 years in this industry and realize no matter your age, people look forward to how we bring that smile to their faces and hearts. In a world where too much time is spent on computers and phones our guests welcome the personal attention they receive when they enter our salons. Never underestimate how truly valuable you are when you create that personal look for your client. They rely on you to build confidence in how they look and feel, no matter what their age.

My Father once told me, "We work in one of the few industries that we have permission to touch someone." He believed this to be a powerful tool, as do I. We use our hands not as weapons, but with an expression of emotional support for our client.
